The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an external evaluator to conduct the independent final evaluation of the project titled "Sustainable supply chains to build forward better: Decent work in five global supply chains of key importance to the European Union for a fair, resilient, and sustainable COVID-19 crisis recovery”. 

The assignment is for an approximately 26 days duration, spread over a period of three months, between 11-2022 and 02-2023. This will include initial on-line briefings and a possibly two-week mission to Malaysia and Viet Nam for in-country interviews and on-site observations. 

Academic requirements: Master's degree from a reputable university, minimum requirement 

Professional experience: Established experience conducting evaluations, familiarity with issues concerning value chains and industrial relations, as well as an understanding of the ILO mandate and its tripartite and international standards foundations. Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Knowledge of the region would be an advantage.
