The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is inviting qualified companies/organizations to submit proposals to conduct the Evaluation of the implementation of the renewed mandate of UNESCO’s International Bureau of Education (IBE).

The UNESCO Division of Internal Oversight Services (IOS) provides the Director-General with independent and evidence-based advice on improvements needed in strategy, design, delivery, and operations of UNESCO activities. The IOS Evaluation Office is seeking a company to conduct the above evaluation which aims to assess the implementation of the renewed mandate of the IBE, including its sustainable operation, while taking into account UNESCO’s work from 2020 to the present day, corresponding to the last and current biennium UNESCO Programme and Budget documents.

The results of the evaluation will be presented to the 217 th session of the Executive Board in autumn 2023. The time schedule for this evaluation is planned between March and June 2023. In this timeframe, the company is expected to submit the following four deliverables: an inception report, a draft evaluation report, a final evaluation report and communication products. The company/organization should possess the qualifications as detailed in the Terms of Reference. The purpose of this notice is to provide general information on the requirements for the procurement process and to inform interested suppliers how to obtain a copy of the Solicitation Documents.
