Objectives of the study
· To assess the involvement of teachers, School Management Committee (SMC) and
students in the school planning process
· To assess whether new sanitation facilities are comfortable to use, adequate
for the total number of school students and address the needs of adolescent
girls.
· To make recommendations on latrine design to address the needs of adolescent
girls.
· To assess whether the water point is safe from arsenic and other
contamination.
· To find out the advantages, disadvantages, constraints and problems in
constructing the facilities through the SMC.
· To assess whether teachers use the school package in sanitation and hygiene
lessons;
· To assess whether messages are easily understood and the children like the
package.
· To assess whether the messages are appropriate and liked by children in the
Chittagong Hill Tracts.
