The purpose of the evaluation is to provide an impartial and independent assessment of IYCF performance in Yemen and identify key achievements, challenges, lessons learned, and practical recommendations for the upcoming phase of the program. The learning will benefit district and regional planning, as well as inform UNICEF internal review and development of effective response to chronic malnutrition in Yemen, aiming to address some of the key challenges of improving IYCF in the country. It will also benefit UNICEF and other UN agencies for future program planning, coordination, and resource mobilization and allocation.
