The evaluation will use a mixed methods approach. It will draw on a range of evidence, including:
• Project activity and financial reports and associated records and documents (listed in Annex G)
• Project monitoring data
• The baseline and end-line perception survey reports
• Key stakeholder interviews with the following groups:
o UN project management and other related staff (including from UNICEF, UNDP, UNESCO, the BiH Resident Coordinator’s Office and the Peacebuilding Support Office)
o Representatives of the BiH Presidency
o Development partners supporting similar activities in BiH
o Implementing partners, including NGO partners, contractors and faculties
o Recipients of small grants and selected participants in their projects (on a sample basis)
o Participants in local dialogue platforms, including municipal officials and community representatives (on a sample basis).
The project has provided the evaluation team with contact details for some stakeholders; others will be identified through snowballing.
• Qualitative data collected by the evaluation team in six project municipalities, through interviews and focus groups with project participants
• Literature on the BiH context.
