Overview

General Assembly resolution A/RES/72/279 designated the United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF), now renamed the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (CF) as “the most important instrument for the planning and implementation of United Nations development activities in each country, in support of the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”. Evaluation of the UNSDCF is a mandatory independent system-wide country evaluation conducted in the penultimate year of each cycle to ensure accountability, enhance learning, and guide the development of the next CF cycle.
