1. To identify areas and population directly, and indirectly affected by the
Tsunami
2. To explain the demographic characteristics of the population pre and
post-disaster, separately for directly, indirectly and not affected by the
Tsunami
3. To determine the key developmental indicators on women and children affected
(directly and indirectly) by Tsunami and comparable non-affected population at
different time points i.e. before, immediately after Tsunami and most recently,
in the following sectors:
a. Health and Nutrition (including on morbidity, mortality and anthropometry)
b. Water, Sanitation and Hygiene
c. Education
d. Protection
e. Adolescent Development and Participation
f. HIV and AIDS
4. To determine the availability and validity of the source of indicator from
reliable information sources
