The aim of the present evaluation study is to assess to what extent diverse
strategies have contributed to girls’ education and to determine how AGEI, a
joint UNICEF-Norway initiative, is positively moving towards identifying
specific programme success factors that may be used in other circumstances. The
study will further help to identify the challenges and specific problems that
could require more attention in order to ensure full success in the
implementation of the programme.
The objective of the 2002 study as stipulated in the ToRs (Terms of Reference)
is to serve as an early warning work on implementation, exploitation, output or
result problems that might occur during AGEI activities and also to support the
implementation of the Mid-Term Strategic Plan (MTSP).
