Broad Objectives
Evaluation of the integrated vaccination, helminth treatment, vitamin A
administration, and ITN distribution campaign in Mtwara region of Tanzania
using a population-based household survey
Specific Objectives
1. Measure post-campaign possession and use of ITNs (children <5 years old),
and coverage of anti-helminth treatment (children 12 months to <5 years old),
and vitamin A administration (children 6 months to <5 years old) by economic
quintile 10 months post-campaign
2. Measure pre-campaign and post-campaign ITN possession and use by economic
quintile 10 months post-campaign.
3. Evaluate ITN retention by economic quintile by measuring ITN possession and
use 10 months post-campaign
4. Measure the impact of distribution on sales of the ITNs through the NDVS
since the campaign in December
