Evaluation of Projects Aimed at the Prevention of Child Abandonment in Maternities
Overview
The evaluation of the prevention services against child abandonment in
maternity hospitals, provided to mothers at abandonment risk, conducted via
counseling cabinets/centers in the 11 maternity hospitals in the counties of
Caras-Severin, Constanta (Medgidia town), Vaslui, Bucharest (the Polizu
maternity), and funded by UNICEF; formulating suggestions and recommendations
for project improvement, enlargement and sustenance.
The main objectives of the evaluation are an impact evaluation for services
provided in terms of abandonment prevention and stability of the adopted
solutions, an evaluation of the satisfaction level of the project beneficiaries
with respect to the services provided, and the sustainability of the services
provided.
