Evaluation of the Youth Fora: 1999 - 2003
Overview
The purpose of this evaluation is to give the Ministry of Education through the
Guidance and Counselling Division and the stakeholders feedback on the way
forward regarding the youth fora. This will provide an opportunity to reflect
and benchmark best practice. Against this background, the objectives of the
evaluation are to:
• assess the impact of the Youth Fora on the lives of the participants;
• establish patterns of challenges as captured in the seven reports;
• review the response of the Ministry of Education to stated recommendations;
• guide the way forward with respect to the future of the Youth Fora within the
Division.
