Formative Evaluation of the ECD and Quality Basic Education Project
Overview
The findings and recommendations of the evaluation are intended to inform the
upcoming mid-term review of UNICEF Uzbekistan and to inform the remaining part
of the current (2005-2009) project cycle. In the longer term the findings will
be used to inform the planning of the next country programme cycle (2010-2014).
The objective of this formative evaluation is therefore twofold and comprises
(i) an assessment of the project results and constraints to date and (ii) the
formulation of recommendations depending on the outcome of the first objective.
