Review of Programme Convergence
Overview
The scope and overall purpose of the Review are to conduct an assessment of how
programme convergence has worked in the first half of the country programme
(2006 to date), and to use the findings and recommendations as inputs to the
2008 Mid-Term Review and, to a certain extent, to the development of the new
Country Programme Action Plan 2011-2015.
The specific objectives are:
1. To identify and analyze achievements and challenges in relation to the
planning and implementation of programme convergence within the first half of
the country programme (2006 to date);
2. To provide concrete recommendations how to improve programme convergence for
the second half of the country programme (2008-2010); and
3. To provide suggestions to improve programme convergence for the subsequent
country programme (2011-2015).
