The project's goal “to strengthen sustainable management of forest ecosystems of the Congo Basin as a contribution of globally relevant biodiversity and ecosystem services| maintaining a solid foundation for the region’s sustainable development”. The evaluation sought to assess project performance (in terms of relevance| effectiveness and efficiency)| and determine outcomes and impacts (actual and potential) stemming from the project| including their sustainability.
