Overview
This report is a Terminal Evaluation of a UNEP/GEF project implemented between 2016 and 2021. The project's overall goal was to support the expansion of the protected areas network in BiH| build a capacity for their effective management| and develop the monitoring system. This aimed at significantly contributing to the preservation of unique values of BiH’s nature and the wellbeing of its peoples and communities. To achieve the project objective| a framework of three components is defined| namely: Component 1: Establishment and effective management of protected areas and biological diversity| Component 2: Management Effectiveness of the National Protected Areas System| Component 3: Biodiversity monitoring.
