Overview
The project's overall development goal was to transform the cogeneration industry in Eastern and Southern Africa into a profitable cogeneration market and promote the widespread implementation of highly efficient cogeneration systems by removing barriers to their application. The project was implemented in 7 countries - Ethiopia| Kenya| Malawi| Uganda| Sudan| Swaziland and Tanzania – over a period of 11 years starting in 2007. The Executing Agent was Energy| Environment and Development Network for Africa (AFREPREN/FWD.
